Hello! My name is Mia Isabella Aguirre and I’ve committed myself to a life in the arts. A professional actor, singer, dancer, model and photographer, I’m incredibly grateful for the places my life has taken me, leading me to become a working artist in New York City all the way from Texas.

After a 10-year stretch of community theatre and training in San Antonio, I attended Long Island University, where I earned my BFA in Musical Theatre. I discovered my love for being a well-rounded artist during my time at LIU, pursuing physical theatre, dance, voice, directing, choreography, devising, and photography. I’ve also completed the Broadway Dance Center Training Program with a concentration in Theatre Dance, and continued my dance training upon graduation.

You can currently catch me performing weekly on the Lower East Side in Unmaking Toulouse- Lautrec with Bated Breath Theatre Company, which I helped devise in May of 2019. I’ve taken over the role of Dance Captain and absolutely love this wacky little show. Other recent credits include: The Briefly Dead (59E59 Theaters), Pizza Man (Company of Fools), Julius Caesar (Hamlet Isn’t Dead), and Bernarda Alba (LIU). When I’m not busy performing, I’m juggling a full-time photography business and fitting in as many CrossFit and boxing classes as I can (and maybe a few dinner parties).
